Strategic Thinking and Planning for Decision Makers

Aim

To provide practical training for busy decision makers who need to chart a course for their organization. We use the most helpful and relevant business tools to enable the public or voluntary sector organization to achieve success.

Strategic thinking will be stimulated so that decision makers can:

· identify and interpret the important trends that impact their organization, its operations and activities

· candidly assess the organizations strengths and comparative advantages, identifying weaknesses in performance and services

· deciding on the best strategy to turn things around

· identify collaborative relationships to help manage the change

· develop an action plan that is easily implemented.

1 day interactive workshop using group work techniques incorporating brainstorming, role-play, games, discussion and debate, positioning, questioning, feedback, evaluation.
