Creating Opportunity Promoting Equality

Making a Difference

Why this workshop?

Having the right qualifications and an impressive CV may get you an interview for a job, but in order to get through the interview, and subsequently retain and progress in your career you will need to develop and demonstrate a range of competencies and personal attributes.  These are sometimes described as employability skills.

Making a Positive Start to Your Career bridges this knowledge gap by giving those planning to enter the workforce the relevant information and practical tools to gain and retain employment, progress in their career, and fulfil their potential.

What makes our approach unique?

We have a proven track record in developing and delivering successful “positive action” training to support people from underachieving and disadvantaged groups, and to give them the skills to overcome personal barriers to success and progress in their career.

We use this wealth of experience to embed equality and diversity in all our training activities to ensure it is relevant and effectively meets the development needs of people with different abilities and from all races, cultures and backgrounds.
