
Action Learning for Senior Managers |
AimTo increase the collective competence of management teams in the utilisation of skills gained in personal development training so that learning is sustained and informs future behaviour.
This will enable managers/teams to:
· increase their collective competence · become accomplished problem solvers · become effective cross-boundary communicators · improve cross-department functioning · develop a holistic perspective seeing the team and organization as a whole · cope with change and uncertainty
The approach of this course is holistic and encourages debate, discussion, appraisal, and learning. The use of cross-functional teams provides a way for participants to understand underlying difficulties and, at the same time, develop creative solutions that will integrate the work across departments.
The skills developed include better leadership and management, improved collaborative working, conflict management, improved employee/customer relationships, better decision-making, recommendations for improved quality, greater responsiveness to requests for information, and increased productivity.
Minimum of six 2 hour sessions.
